Snapper caught straylining on the drift near Whale Rock in about 35 meters of water, February 2004, while on my boat "Sodoff. Weighed out at 8.0kg and 7.0kg.They were smashing whole butterflied Mackerels on the way down, great fun.Only kept these 2 out of 6 caught......smoked up quite nicely by my good neighbor and intrepid fish smoker Len REED of Kerikeri.. | |
